Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the Mooda iOS app ("Mooda", "the app"), operated by the person named in the Impressum. By using the app you agree to these terms.

1. What Mooda is — and what it isn't

Mooda is a personal mood-tracking journal. It is a wellbeing and self-reflection tool, not a medical product. Mooda does not provide medical or psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is no substitute for professional help. If you are struggling, please reach out to a doctor, therapist or a local crisis line.

2. Subscriptions

Full access to Mooda requires an auto-renewing subscription. The available plans (for example weekly or yearly) and their prices are shown in the app before purchase; prices may vary by region.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple account settings (Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions).
  • Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Purchases can be restored on a new device via "Restore".

3. Your content

Everything you write or add in Mooda remains yours. We claim no rights to your journal entries, and — as described in the Privacy Policy — we have no access to them. You are responsible for keeping your device and iCloud account secure and for backing up your data.

4. Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or use it in violation of applicable law or Apple's Media Services Terms.

5. Availability and changes

We continuously improve Mooda and may add, change or remove features. We do our best to keep the app available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation.

6. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and under mandatory statutory provisions. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Any further liability is excluded.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by German law. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which you live remain unaffected.
